Partnership Architecture Programme

The full design engagement. Multiple partners, the whole operating model, embedded.

The Problem

You have an ecosystem, not a partnership.

Some organisations don’t have one partnership to structure – they have six. Channel partners, technology integrators, institutional sponsors, regulatory bodies, ecosystem allies, distribution agents. Each one matters. None of them work alone. The leadership team is making decisions about all of them with no shared framework, no shared cadence, and no shared view of which partnership is doing what work for the business.

The Partnership Architecture Programme is for that situation. It is the full design engagement: ecosystem mapping, governance design, value flow architecture, measurement framework, and the embedded work needed to make all of it operate as a coherent system rather than six separate relationships.

What It Builds

An operating system for partnerships

  • A complete ecosystem map of every active and prospective partnership, with each placed against the three-gate Stage Gate.
  • A tiered governance model: which partnerships sit at executive level, which at operational, which at programme level.
  • Value architecture for the top three to five partnerships: who contributes, who benefits, on what schedule, against what measures.
  • A unified partnership measurement framework with three to five metrics that surface in your board pack every cycle.
  • Conflict-of-interest and information-classification rules applied across the ecosystem using FabCube and C1–C4.
  • A 180-day operating plan that defines what your leadership team will and will not do directly, and what gets delegated or partnered out.
  • The internal capability to run all of this without me, once the programme closes.

How It Works

Two to three months, four phases, embedded

  1. Phase one · Map · weeks 1–3

Every partnership inventoried. Every Stage Gate applied. Where partnerships sit today, where they should sit, which ones are quietly costing more than they return.

  2. Phase two · Design · weeks 3–7

Governance model, value architecture for the top three to five partnerships, measurement framework. Paired sessions with each partner in turn, so the design is owned, not handed down.

  3. Phase three · Install · weeks 7–10

The new operating model goes live. First operating committees held under the new structure. First metrics reported. First conflicts surfaced through the FabCube register.

  4. Phase four · Hand over · weeks 10–12

Your team runs the model. I attend and observe. The final week is dedicated to running through the system without me in the room, and confirming you can.

Who It’s For

Three signals you might need this

You have more than three partnerships

And different members of your leadership team would describe each one differently if asked.

Partnership decisions are bottlenecking the founder

Every partnership question still ends up with one person, often because no-one else has the framework.

The board is asking for visibility

And you don’t yet have a partnership section in the board pack you would be proud to present.

From £37,500

Fixed-fee programme scoped to the ecosystem complexity. Includes a master framework licence for one team to use FabCube, Stage Gate and C1–C4 internally for the duration of the engagement plus twelve months thereafter. Travel beyond Winchester / M25 charged at cost.

The Programme is rarely the first conversation

Most Programme engagements start with a diagnostic or a single Partnership Sprint. The Sprint earns the right to come back and architect the whole ecosystem. If you already know you need the full Programme, the conversation is simpler — but rarer.
