Fabrizio de Liberali – Founder
I have over 25 years of experience in the fields of strategy and digital technology. I am passionate about data-driven insights and keen to drive innovation across various sectors. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with talented and diverse teams on incredible projects.
I was born and raised in the beautiful Dolomites near Venice. Later, I studied economics and computational statistics at Bocconi University in Milan. During my university years, I explored data science by experimenting with neural networks and a variety of forecasting algorithms.
I began my career working for the University before moving on to a role as a project manager at Dun & Bradstreet. During this time, I delivered projects to Telecoms and Oil & Gas Corporates. After that, I joined the Italian Vodafone/Verizon joint venture, known as “Omnitel,” where I focused on “special projects” such as voice over IP convergence, Telematics, Premium Messaging and APIs, and Dedicated Private Networks. Later, I moved to the UK as a Global Product Manager for Vodafone, where I successfully delivered applications (with millions of users) and APIs (with millions of calls per day). I also served as a product lead for the due diligence of an automotive telematics company. Finally, I left the telecommunications industry at the end of 2015.
In 2016, I established Fab Campaigns Ltd to support some of my consultancy projects. During this time, I also created a couple of lifestyle businesses using Fab Campaigns as a means to learn new skills and develop my own digital business presence from scratch. By creating and managing these businesses, I became proficient in the use of various digital tools and gained valuable experience in handling personal data. It was important to me to use these tools daily, so that I could effectively consult with customers on their use and benefits. Additionally, I created these ventures to share my love for the outdoors and locally-sourced products. To this day, both businesses are still active and thriving.
In 2017, I worked for one of Fab Campaigns’ clients, a personal data start-up called digi.me. I held the position of Chief Product Officer, where I was responsible for refining the company’s vision, mission, and product roadmap. I left digi.me in 2020 and then took on various assignments leading teams to deliver ambitious data science projects. These projects spanned across multiple industries and fields, from ad-technology data to snow data, from neuroscience to infrastructure safety, from defense to healthcare. Recently, I established Smart Mountains Ltd, where I aim to leverage my expertise in digital, data analytics, and telematics to contribute towards environmental conservation. Fab Campaigns has been instrumental in supporting the establishment of Smart Mountains Ltd, and I am grateful for their continuous support.

I am a father of three talented children and I have a strong interest in all forms of creative expression, including literature, visual arts, performing arts, cooking, and more. For decades, I have been passionate about mountaineering, climbing, ski touring, hiking and mountain biking. These outdoor activities demand both physical and mental strength, as well as a lot of grit and determination.
